I love the wind

Names are a fascinating thing. First names, last names, nicknames, lo que sea/whatever it might be.
Roman Catholics had/have had the tradition of giving the name of the Saint who is remembered on the day of their birth. The Maya and Mexica (Aztecs) had 20 day names that were also used to name children. It is part of calendaring system that was tremendously complex and very precise. There are several sites that have general introductory information.
http://www.azteccalendar.com/ is one with very clear graphics.
Ehecatl means wind in Nahuatl, the language of the Mexica. Like the Mexica that are still alive, the language is also still living. I look at the sky today and the hear the leaves moving and I am reminded of Ehecatl, whose image is here represented.
Ehecatl who helps clear the air, spread the seed, make the chimes sound, and energize those of us who love the feel of the air rushing around us.
Thank you/Tlazakomati, Ehecatl, for this beautiful day.
