The Cat Days of Summer

It's hot and is supposed to get hotter over the next few days.

I write that with the same intent one has when taking a band-aid off quickly. You know the smart is going to be a good one, but if you do it quickly you don't feel the hurt as long. So they tell us.

I'm also going to try and be Larry-like.

I'll ignore the fact that the discomfort is right up against my cheek and

glare at anyone who questions my choice.
