I am a long distance doting grandma. Proud of the doting, wish the distance were less, and love being that person who can ooo and aw with no social repercussions. I dote because I can.
There is no need to share if there is a favorite or special grandchild because they all are.

Imitating the motion of the paint being mixed in the hardware store for Mama-
Posing "Boo" before taking a trip to the cemetery
to leave flowers for their ancestors-
Or sleeping blissfully in Dziadziu's arms after a long day of exploring the world.
