The letter "z" was all my computer was placing on the screen on Tuesday. The delete key didn't work and it wasn't alone; the keys on the edge - q,a,z as the lefterly example - didn't work. Happy to say that I was able to take it to the Apple Store on the same day. Not happy to share that they told me that I was going to be without my computer for days.
Thanks to the good folks at the store we are reunited. New keyboard, no cost.
Didn't feel like I went through withdrawal, but it sure is good to be able to type away.
Oh, I know the feeling. I just got my new laptop at the end of last week.
