Rose Hills, Buddha

I wrote yesterday about our visit to Rose Hills.  It was a great day for photos.  The air was crisp and the light was grand for shadows and such.

I used the iPad while we were there; it has the ability of focusing on different items.  You touch the pad and that point becomes your focal point.  In this case the machine quite clearly takes the lead and can visually "see" things so differently than does the naked eye.

The differences can be stunning.

Or can be extremely subtle.  All three of the following were taken at about the same spot.  Only the focal point was different.

As with all things there can be a very happy medium.
I love the toes on this buddha.
