Ready for prime time

One of my non-resolution resolutions was to write more often.  Best intentions and it's only been a month since my last post.

But...

In the meantime James and I have helped our back room go from this

to this...

We also celebrated James entering a prime year - he's 59!  Okay, some of youse guys with a background in the humanities may go ho-hum, but I bet those who have an interest in math will understand how cool that can be.
I tend be in the first group, but after 35 years, let's just say I still like to make the man happy.

  1. Engineers get giggly at the thought of it. The music historian in the house smiles, knowing that Mr. Math smiles whenever she becomes excited as she listens to pieces with a good hemiola. (Hemiola being the interplay of two groups of three notes with three groups of two notes gives a distinctive pattern of 1-2-3, 1-2-3, 1-2, 1-2, 1-2). To each their own giddiness.
