To the mountains from the sea, here in Southern California



The new Pasadena Police Department Chief will be Phil Sanchez. He is a 29 year veteran of the Santa Monica Police Department. During those years he has had extensive training in as well as being responsible for coordinating security and planning for the final leg of the LA Marathon which ended in Santa Monica.

According to Ann Erdman he'll be introduced to the community on Tuesday morning. "On Tuesday, June 15, Pasadena City Manager Michael J. Beck will announce and introduce Pasadena’s next police chief at 11:30 a.m. in the Council Chamber, room S249 at Pasadena City Hall, 100 N. Garfield Ave".

Welcome Chief Sanchez.

  1. The press conference was very successful today. After being introduced and making some remarks, he took questions from reporters and community leaders. I think everyone was as impressed as I was.
