Latino Heritage is the only organization I know that was birthed by a parade. Not sure what that means, but there you go.

Our organization is volunteer led; programs and projects do not have government, city or state, related staff. Those involved have an appreciation of the way that arts, culture, heritage, and history are interwoven. Most of our efforts encourage child and/or family participation.

To keep our programs viable we've learned to be creative. So, following the example of Vecinos of South Pasadena, we're going to have a Tequila Tasting fundraiser - adults only.

There'll be a historical presentation as part of the tasting and a bit of art to be bought.
