Backyard rain

Most days when I write when I've finished my big obligations for the day or am in real need for a break.

Today I couldn't wait. It rained.

The sun is sort of up and out and the rain has left all sorts of droplets on our plants. From inside my office the sunlight coming through the droplets made for natural twinkle factor. Raccoons and I are easy prey for twinkle factor.

So I played double hooky and went outside to enjoy the rain, take some pictures, and am sharing this with you.

I make fun of my Portlandian cousins because they get all jazzed when they see the sun. They'd be laughing at me today - so much joy, from a bit of rain.
