The writing on the wall

My days are usually full of meetings and strategic planning and community needs and proposals and GOTV and so forth and so on and so on and so on.

Generally I welcome this because I can be a part of groups that are looking to make our community better for as many as possible. However...... a break from this can sometimes be a good and necessary thing. So I have a few more days at meetings and will be involved with good phone conversations before I get a bit of a refreshing time alone with my honey.

More on the trip in a couple of days, in the meantime I'm working on a display that will be up in the Central Library that will be highlighting some local Latina and Latino writers. We'll be sharing ideas on Literacy, Legacy, and the Latino Community on the evening of November 10th.
