Irish Relief Society

These fine ladies were at the last Museums of the Arroyo Day representing the Irish Relief Society. Sharing information about the part the Irish played in the U.S. Civil War.

No discussions of leprechauns, of green beer, or of corned beef. But a lot of info on the role of Irish men and women in the War.

I tried to find their contact information yesterday, spent way too long looking for it, and didn't find it. I'l share soon. I know it's in a stack of cards in the office.

In the meantime belated St. Paddy's Day. Hats off to the Irish and to those who work to keep the knowledge of history alive.
