I'll be leaving this Scholar's Retreat tomorrow early in the morning.
It's been a rewarding time. Funny how much work one can do when truly not interrupted.
Heartening to reconnect with my place in academia.
And fun to look at the charming, if compressed view.
Oh, this is something I've always wanted to do--a retreat, even just for a weekend, for writing and thinking. I hope you've enjoyed it.
