SW circuit/Durango

We left New Mexico and arrived in Colorado in the late afternoon.  


We stayed in Durango.  It began as a railroad town and continues to be a destination for train aficionados in part because steam engines still run on the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.  After checking in to the General Palmer Hotel we went to see the train return from Silverton.

I saw much of this, too.  But here is what caught my eye.
