Juan Felipe's first trip to Pasadena

 A bit of magic was worked in Pasadena yesterday.  Not every day a Poet Laureate comes to town - even this town. 

But he was here and gave interviews


charmed staff


  helped young poets and writers really embrace their voice at La Pintoresca Teen Education Center



and captured the attention of students at PCC.

He'll be back on April 27th.  

Come on down, you'll be glad you did.

    I have his volume "Senegal Taxi". Intense, very intimate and cerebral, gut wrenching and funny.
