Winter color

I think of these as my winter blooms.





 Not native, but they sure taste good - and that's enough for me.

    I want to plant some food but I have no idea when to plant. I guess around here it doesn't matter.

      I think I cheat a little. I look for the veggies to be mentioned on the sites of folks who are really good at growing things and I ask Ramon or Teresa ( Lincoln Avenue Nursery) when might be a better time to plant. I lost some broccoli to our local heatwave.
